CricFan and Radio City partner to elevate T20 World Cup experience for cricket fans

Through this collaboration, Radio City will leverage its extensive reach to promote CricWin through on-air mentions by popular RJs and targeted promotions.

CricFan, a leading platform dedicated to cricket enthusiasts, has announced a strategic partnership with Radio City, India’s leading radio station, to elevate the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 experience for fans across the nation.

CricFan is known for its innovative cricket entertainment offerings like FanzoneTV, Cricket Chirps, and Queens of Cricket which have fostered a vibrant online community for fans to connect and celebrate their love for the sport. Building on this success, CricFan recently launched CricWin, a free-to-play contest platform designed to engage the cricketing community further.

Through this collaboration, Radio City will leverage its extensive reach, particularly in cricket-crazy cities like Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, and Bangalore to promote CricWin through on-air mentions by popular RJs and targeted promotions. This strategic approach aims to maximise participation in CricFan’s CricWin platform.

Marc Hayward, Founder of CricFan, expressed “India has always been at the top when it comes to cheering for Cricket. Fans always want to feel involved with their favourite teams; honestly, without them, there is no thrill in the sport. Our main idea behind the partnership with RadioCity is based on the same. CricWin’s free-to-play contest is just a simple way for the fans to feel involved in being the 12th man of the team and also stand a chance to win gifts of great value.”

CricFan, in turn, will support Radio City’s flagship podcast series, FANZONE UNPLUGGED, as the “exclusive title sponsor.” This includes exclusive content integration, in-show mentions, co-branded social media graphics, and promotional assets.

Radio City, India’s first private FM station launched in 2001, enjoys widespread popularity with its mix of Hindi, English, and regional music programming across major Indian cities.

The announcement comes on the heel of the Men in Blue’s opening match against Ireland tonight at 8:00 PM IST.
