The Delhi Premier League (DPL) has strengthened its commercial portfolio ahead of the 2026 season by appointing cricket platform CREX as its official fan engagement partner.

The collaboration is designed to elevate the tournament’s digital fan experience through interactive content, real-time match coverage and in-app engagement as the league gears up for its third edition.

Organised by the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA), the 2026 Delhi Premier League will run from July 31 to August 30, featuring eight men’s teams and four women’s teams competing across 57 matches. The partnership adds another digital-focused brand to the tournament’s growing roster of commercial partners as the DPL continues to expand its footprint within India’s domestic cricket landscape.

As part of the agreement, CREX will offer fans a suite of interactive experiences throughout the competition, including live scores, detailed player statistics, match predictions, quizzes, polls, exclusive content and other engagement-driven features. The collaboration aims to deepen fan interaction before, during and after matches while complementing the league’s live broadcast and streaming coverage.

Commenting on the partnership, Purushotam Rawat, CEO, CREX, said, “The way fans engage with cricket has evolved significantly, with digital experiences becoming an integral part of how the game is followed and celebrated. Through our partnership with Delhi Premier League, we aim to create experiences that make fans feel closer to the tournament, whether through exclusive content, interactive engagement or opportunities that bring them into the heart of the action. At CREX, we remain committed to making every cricketing moment more immersive, engaging and rewarding for our community.”

Speaking on the collaboration, Rohan Jaitley, President of DDCA, added, “The Delhi Premier League is committed to creating a world-class experience for players and fans alike. We’re delighted to partner with CREX to bring supporters closer to the action through innovative digital engagement.”

The agreement underscores the increasing role of technology-led fan engagement within India’s domestic cricket ecosystem. As leagues look to extend audience interaction beyond live broadcasts, partnerships with digital platforms are becoming a key component of commercial strategy, enabling rights holders to build stronger fan communities while creating additional value for sponsors.

For CREX, the deal further expands its presence across Indian cricket. The platform has been actively growing its sports marketing portfolio through partnerships with the Big Cricket League and Delhi Capitals, while also strengthening its brand presence through ambassador agreements with Shikhar Dhawan and Harmanpreet Kaur.

The DPL, meanwhile, continues to emerge as one of India’s fastest-growing state-based T20 leagues. Alongside the CREX partnership, the tournament recently awarded its exclusive digital streaming rights to FanCode for the 2026 season, reinforcing its focus on enhancing both fan accessibility and digital engagement as it prepares for another landmark edition.
