Complexity Gaming announces partnership deal with Alcon

The deal will see both the parties collaborate and spread the message of how extended usage of digital platforms and screen time affects the eyes.

North American gaming company Complexity Gaming announced its partnership deal with the American-Swiss medical company Alcon.

The deal has been signed for one year and will see Systane, which is the Alcon-owned eye drop brand become the official eye-care partner of Complexity Gaming.

Jason Lake, Founder of Complexity Gaming said, “Proper eye care is an essential part of our ongoing commitment to improving the holistic health and wellness of esports athletes. Partnering with Alcon will help to educate our players, content creators, and the community-at-large on the importance of ocular health.

The deal will see both the parties collaborate and spread the message of how extended usage of digital platforms and screen time affects the eyes.

Jeff Huffman, Senior Director of Dry Eye and Ocular Health Marketing at Alcon said, “Alcon is excited to partner with Complexity through this first-of-its-kind partnership that we hope will help players understand vision changes they might be having because of dry eye and help them find real relief. Through this partnership, we are thrilled to introduce a new audience to our family of products which includes the newly launched Systane Hydration Multi-Dose Preservative-Free lubricant eye drops at a time when they most need relief from dry eye symptoms and can keep their eyes on the prize.

Complexity Gaming will be looking to enhance its global outreach with this deal even further, in the esports industry, eye care is of extreme importance.

The deal between both parties is potentially the first of many in the industry.
