Colors Tamil, the Tamil Entertainment channel by Viacom18, is all set to provide live coverage of the upcoming SA20, which is starting from January 10, 2023.
Earlier this year in November, Viacom18 acquired exclusive rights to the first-ever edition of the South African domestic T20 league. The media broadcasting baron will provide a live telecast of the competition with Tamil commentary.
SA20 consists of six teams – Joburg Super Kings, Pretoria Capitals, Durban’s Super Giants, Sunrisers Eastern Cape, Paarl Royals and MI Cape Town. Each team will play against the other twice in a round-robin stage before the knockouts. The competition will have 33 matches, which will be played over four weeks.
The tournament has the potential of providing some enthralling T20 action as the league consists of players like David Miller, Jos Buttler, Quinton de Kock, Jason Holder, Liam Livingstone and many others.
SA20 has also signed Betway as its title sponsor in a multi-year deal.
