Chicago Bulls team up with Klarna

Chicago Bull’s star players Zach Lavine and Lonzo Ball will act as the brand ambassadors for the payment firm.

The National Basketball Association (NBA) franchise, Chicago Bulls has partnered with a Swedish fintech company, Klarna in a multi-year deal. With this collaboration, both parties would like to strengthen their portfolio in their respective fields.

Through this association, the fans of the legendary Michael Jordan’s team would get benefits of the fintech’s all-in-one shopping service and interest-free pay in four options while witnessing exclusive in-stadium experiences, distinct merchandise, purchasable content and co-branded great offers. Both the organizations will generate numerous initiatives and fashion associations to provide their followers with shoppable unique digital and material content that would include behind-the-scene and pre-game apparel.

By this collaboration, Chicago Bull’s star players Zach Lavine and Lonzo Ball will act as the brand ambassadors for the payment firm to assist in drawing merits from the partnership and reflect it through their personal style and fashion looks. The branding of Klarna would be seen across the scoring panel, LED holdings, and Bulls practice uniform.

David Sandstrom, the CMO of Klarna, commented on this partnership and said, “The Chicago Bulls are one of the most renowned teams in basketball history, and share Klarna’s commitment to challenging the limits of success within culture and commerce. Together, we will showcase how brands and teams can align to provide a more meaningful and engaging experience for fans.”

Chicago Bulls’ Executive Vice President and Revenue & Strategy, Matthew Kobe also gave his insights on the association and said, “We’re excited to partner with Klarna to leverage the intersection of sports, fashion and commerce to provide Bulls fans opportunities to engage with our brand in a new way. Our partnership with Klarna will further the Bulls’ commitment to combining sports and tech to create revolutionary experiences for our fans.”

Klarna has recently also signed a deal with Angel City Football Club and with this notable basketball team under its bag, it is moving strongly in the commercial market.
