Chennaiyin FC onboard Ultrahuman as official wearable partner until 2026

The agreement incorporates Ultrahuman Ring AIR, the world's lightest smart ring, with Chennaiyin FC's training program.

Chennaiyin FC, a prominent team in the Indian Super League (ISL), have announced a new agreement with Ultrahuman, the world’s best and most comprehensive metabolic conditioning platform.

With this deal, the brand has been named as the club’s official wearable partner for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons. This association exemplifies Chennaiyin FC’s dedication to using technology to improve player performance, rehabilitation, and general health.

The agreement incorporates Ultrahuman Ring AIR, the world’s lightest smart ring, with Chennaiyin FC’s training program. The ring, which provides real-time biomarker information, will assist athletes in optimising their training, matchday performance, and recuperation.

The Ultrahuman Ring AIR monitors heart rate (HR), heart rate variability (HRV), stress, movement, and skin temperature. The ring also provides precise insights into sleep patterns and helps enable players to maintain endurance and energy levels during games.

Ekansh Gupta, Vice President of Chennaiyin FC, said, “Technology plays a crucial role in modern football, not just in improving performance but also in ensuring player safety and well-being. This partnership with Ultrahuman reflects our commitment to staying at the forefront of innovation, both on and off the pitch.”

Mohit Kumar, Founder of Ultrahuman, commented, “We are thrilled to partner with Chennaiyin FC. With the Ring AIR, players and coaches will benefit from advanced insights derived from powerful biomarkers to support their performance, cognition, and recovery.”

Ultrahuman will utilise its platform as part of the cooperation to raise awareness of the significance of sports recovery and health monitoring. Through LED screens in Chennai’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, fans will be able to learn the advantages of cutting-edge health tracking, engage with content on Chennaiyin FC’s social media accounts, and participate in joint health and wellness activities.

On January 15, 2025, Chennaiyin FC will make their Ultrahuman Ring AIR debut when they play Mohammedan SC. This is the first step in a revolutionary quest to use technology to improve athletic performance.

Chennaiyin FC and Ultrahuman’s collaboration is expected to revolutionise the way technology and sports are combined to improve athletic performance and foster well-being both on and off the pitch.
