Tiémoué Bakayoko, the French footballer is once again heading towards AC Milan on a loan deal by Chelsea in his what is to be called a “complicated” loan saga as he has already done the same loan transfer two years ago.
Bakayoko has not been a permanent member of any squad in the past five seasons as this is the player’s fourth loan transfer in the past five years.
Chelsea signed Bakayoko from AS Monaco at a massive price of £40m and will be looking forward to selling the player for a similar price.
Milan, who is currently fourth on the Serie A table has won both of their league matches with Sandro Tonali and Rade Krunic both showing excellent performances in the midfield. Bakayoko will be an excellent addition, but it will be challenging for him to be a regular starter. A golden opportunity will rise for him if Milan were to play a 3-man midfield which is usually unlikely taking into consideration Pioli’s tactics.
As it was discussed, Milan is supposed to pay a loan fee of an amount €500k to €1.5m and they also have a buy-option of around €15-20m, the procedure will move ahead only if certain terms are met.
The player and Chelsea should have gone ahead with a straightforward transfer of the player concluding his complicated loan saga.
This complicated loan might turn out to be an opportunity for Bakayoko. If he plays well in the Italian league and impresses the London club, the 27-year-old might get another chance to play in Chelsea and even be the replacement for N’golo Kante.
