Chelsea Football Club have strengthened their long-standing relationship with Topps, naming the collectibles company their official trading card partner under a new long-term agreement.

The expanded partnership builds on a relationship that began in 2018 and gives Topps exclusive club-level rights across Chelsea’s trading card, trading card game and sticker categories. The agreement covers both the men’s and women’s teams, broadening the scope of Topps’ involvement across the club’s collectibles offering.

Products will be developed across Topps’ leading football brands, including Topps, Match Attax and Merlin, giving Chelsea supporters access to a wider range of cards, games and stickers. The partnership will also place greater emphasis on premium collectibles, including player autographs, game-worn memorabilia and limited-edition cards.

A key element of the expanded agreement is the increased representation of Chelsea Women, with Topps set to develop a broader range of products featuring players from the women’s first team. The move provides Chelsea with another commercial platform to showcase its women’s squad while bringing its players and stories to a wider collecting audience.

The partnership comes as Chelsea’s 2026-27 Topps product range continues to combine current first-team players with emerging talent and club legends. Products feature premium formats including numbered parallels, autograph cards and limited-edition releases, extending the appeal beyond traditional mass-market collectibles.

Beyond product development, the agreement will also create opportunities for fan engagement through player-led activations, collecting experiences and digital content, allowing Chelsea and Topps to connect the commercial partnership with the club’s global fanbase.

For Chelsea, the expanded partnership creates a broader platform to commercialise its playing talent, heritage and intellectual property. For Topps, it deepens its association with a globally recognised football brand while expanding its presence across both men’s and women’s football.

The deal ultimately positions collectibles as more than a merchandise category, giving Chelsea another avenue to turn its players, history and fan engagement into commercial opportunities.
