Chelsea Football Club has announced the renewal of its partnership with the Swiss watch brand, Hublot. Both the entities penned down a multi-year contract extension, which will see Hublot continue with the title of the club’s official timekeeper.
The partnership between Chelsea FC and Hublot commenced back in the year 2015, and this extension adds to their long-standing relationship over these past years. According to the involved entities, the partnership is built on the spirit of tradition and innovation, with both Chelsea and Hublot being renowned for their prestige, success, and for delivering memorable experiences.
Following this partnership since 2015, Hublot has launched three unique and hugely successful limited-edition timepieces which were in collaboration with Chelsea. While the most recent of that was in November 2019 where some of the Chelsea stars attended the launch event to unveil the Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph Chelsea FC watch.
As the contract extension is penned down, Hublot will continue to create some exciting and engaging content with the Chelsea players. While it will also benefit from the exclusive experiences at Stamford Bridge and Cobham, which will work towards bringing the Hublot clients close to the Blues.
Speaking on the occasion, Chelsea chief executive Guy Laurence said: ‘We are delighted to further extend our partnership with Hublot; it is a relationship we are so proud of. Hublot have a clear passion for football and partner with many of the sport’s biggest and best properties. We are thrilled to be part of that and look forward to delivering many more unique experiences for Chelsea fans and Hublot clients over the coming seasons.’
Adding to it, Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot, added: ‘Hublot Loves Football! The Hublot manufacture shares its devotion to long-term commitment with the world of football. We are a loyal partner of Chelsea FC, lending our support to every match. The club and players know they can count on us. The fans share our passion, and we are keen to prove to them that we are here to stay, both for them and for the love of football.’
On the field, Chelsea FC will be playing a high-voltage match as they get ready to face Manchester United in their next league fixture, scheduled on November 28. While the Blues are currently leading the Premier League table, collecting 29 points from their last 12 games.
