Chelsea FC net multi-year association with FansMall

FansMall is set to become Chelsea's official trading card & sports collectibles partner in Greater China.

The Premier League club, Chelsea FC have inked a multi-year sponsorship agreement with the largest sports trading card platform, FansMall.

Following this deal, the Chinese brand is set to become the club’s official trading card & sports collectibles partner in Greater China.

As part of this collaboration, FansMall will produce a line of trading cards with a Chelsea theme for the Greater China market as well as provide Chinese supporters access to rare goods including autographed memorabilia and match-worn clothing.

By appearing on the Chinese New Year episode of the Chelsea Studio Show on February 3, the club’s premier match-day show, FansMall has also increased its exposure to the team’s Chinese supporters.

With the help of the team’s regional Asian headquarters in Singapore, Chelsea has established a significant presence in Greater China in recent years. In addition to producing an award-winning studio programme, the club has played preseason games in Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Macau. The team has also interacted directly with its fans on social media sites like Weibo, Douyin, and Kuaishou.

Thanks to these initiatives, Chelsea has 15 million online followers in China, making it the most popular European football team. With an average audience of 16.5 million, the Chelsea Studio Show is the most popular football live stream in China. The Blues are the most popular Premier League team in China on Weibo and Douyin during the 2022–2023 season.

In the English top-flight standings, the Blues have acquired the ninth spot with 30 points.
