Champion of Champions onboards Cazoo as principal sponsor

Leading snooker players, such as Ronnie O'Sullivan and Judd Trump, will have Cazoo's insignia on their shirts throughout their games.

The professional snooker tournament, Champion of Champions, which will take place between November 13 and 19, 2023, has announced a new sponsorship deal with Cazoo, the UK’s leading online car retailer.

Following the partnership, the brand has become the principal sponsor for the Champion of Champions event at Bolton’s Toughsheet Community Stadium. 16 tournament champions from the previous year are gathered for the Matchroom Multi Sport-backed Champion of Champions.

As part of the deal, leading snooker players, such as Ronnie O’Sullivan and Judd Trump, will have Cazoo’s insignia on their shirts throughout their games. Additionally, the backgrounds for the media conference, interviews, and main stage will all include major Cazoo branding.

Numerous stations worldwide, including ITV 4, will provide in-depth live coverage of the competition.

Cazoo, which was created in 2018 by renowned British entrepreneur Alex Chesterman, has sold over 140,000 automobiles since December 2019 as buyers have welcomed the choices, value, transparency, and convenience of buying and selling used cars completely online.

A spokesman for Cazoo said, “We’re delighted to be partnering with Matchroom Multi Sport to support the Champion of Champions tournament and to see the world’s best snooker players battle it out in Bolton. This deal will help to further grow our audience as we continue to build Cazoo as a household brand by reinventing the used car buying experience and providing the best selection, value, quality and convenience for UK car buyers.”

For the competition, all 16 participants will be donning customised jerseys.

Onboard Sportswear, the official apparel partner of the Champion of Champions and Matchroom Multi Sport, custom-made each player’s jersey. Supporters will be able to buy these limited-edition outfits online through Onboard Sportswear and the Champion of Champions website.

Tickets start at £15 each session, with VIP tickets starting at £110. VIP comprises front two-row seats, a two-course dinner, a complimentary programme upon getting there, drink vouchers, access to the practice table-watching area, and much more.
