The UK sportswear company, Castore has signed a new partnership with the Winter Olympic gold medallist, Eve Muirhead as its first female ambassador.
In February, the captain of the women’s British team became the Olympic champion at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. Moreover, back in May, the 32-year-old Scottish became world champion as part of the mixed doubles team.
Muirhead also won a bronze medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, a gold medal at the 2013 World Curling Championships, and three European Curling Championships.
Muirhead is the latest addition to Castore’s growing list of ambassadors, which includes the tennis legend Andy Murray, the England ODI and T20I captain Jos Buttler, and England rugby union star, Owen Farrell.
Tom Beahon, Co-Founder of Castore, said, “We’re so excited to have Eve on board with Castore. Not only is she the personification of better never stops, but she’s also incredibly driven and dedicated when it comes to being a top-tier athlete. Eve is an asset to the brand, and we can’t wait to work with her.”
On the partnership, Muirhead said, “I love to showcase women in sport and it was a natural fit for me to become Castore’s first female ambassador. I always work hard and over my many years in sport my commitment and drive have helped me achieve my successes.”
