Castore lands a sponsorship deal with Le Mans

The deal will cover Le Mans’ centenary race in 2023.

In a new three-year contract with the race promoter Automobile Club de l’Ouest(ACO), UK sportswear company Castore has become the official outfitter of Le Mans.

As discussed by both sides in the deal which was brokered by IMG, Castore will provide official apparel for the 24-hour endurance racing event, plus the centenary instalment of the race in 2023.

Castore first debuted as an individual brand back in 2015 and made its entry in sports this year after it signed a deal with the top F1 team McLaren. There has been an increase in the contribution of Castore in soccer as well with the UK-based brand working along not only for Wolves and Newcastle but also for the Scottish Rangers.

The 24 Hours of Le Mans represents cutting-edge design, engineering, and construction and a continuous quest for improvement”, said Pascal Lafitte, Castore’s director of partnerships.”

That ambition is a perfect match for our ‘Better Never Stops’ philosophy and our pledge to use state-of-the-art techniques to make the world’s best-quality sportswear, for the most demanding athletes.”

We are looking forward to building a relationship with the Automobile Club de l’Ouest in the next few years, with campaigns that reflect the iconic status of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.”

Stephane Andriolo, ACO director of clients and events, added, “We are delighted to be associated with this rapid-growth brand whose premium performance wear is attracting attention in sporting circles around the world.

The brand will be the official 24 Hours of Le Mans outfitter, with all representatives of the iconic race wearing the apparel.”
