Castore could surpass some prominent sportswear brands in future

For decades, around the globe, the sports business has been heavily backed by lucrative sportswear brands in all sorts of capacities and the ever-booming industry will keep progressing with the inclusion of new companies.

One such new brand, Castore, which is based in the UK has already made its way into the sports business and could be the leading name in the industry in the upcoming years.

Carter Sporting Club Limited, also known as Castore, sells its products in over 50 countries around the world. Castore was founded in 2015 with the goal of bringing a new level of performance to men’s sportswear. The brand’s mission is to create the lightest, most long-lasting, and highest performing sportswear on the market, and the firm does so by putting products through rigorous testing.

The company has sponsorship deals with association football teams, cricket teams and tennis players. In recent years, the brand has been associated with the likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers, Newcastle United, Sevilla, Aston Villa, Charlton Athletic, UD Almeria and Harlequins. Along with them, the brand hasn’t backed away from sponsoring cricket teams as they have partnered with England Cricket, Cricket South Africa and Kent Cricket.

In the motorsport arena, the brand has collaborated with the Formula 1 team, McLaren and race promoter, Automobile Club de I’Quest.

With the growing business, the company has also roped in a slew of sports celebrities to become its brand ambassador. The firm is associated with England’s limited overs cricket captain, Jos Buttler. Moreover, Andy Murray, Marlie Packer and Eve Muirhead.

Castore secured £7.5 million in funding from undeclared private investors in early 2020 to get associated with some of the renowned football clubs.

Within just seven years, some of the elite sports leagues, teams and personalities are in its sponsorship portfolio, in the coming years, Castore could outdo the old players in the industry, such as Adidas and Nike. The brand, which is headquartered in Manchester has managed to reach several parts of Europe and with the passing of time, it could also spread across the world.
