Castore adds UD Almeria to its sponsorship portfolio

Since its inauguration in 2015, the company ventured into numerous different sports and is now broadening into other nations around the world.

The premium sportswear brand, Castore has announced a new partnership deal with the newly-promoted LaLiga side, UD Almeria. Both entities have inked a multi-year association which will commence in the upcoming 2022/23 season. Following this deal, Castore has been labelled as UD Almeria’s official kit and retail partner.

Since Castore’s inauguration in 2015, the company ventured into numerous different sports and is now broadening into other nations around the world. The company has evolved from a sports apparel retailer to one of the world’s largest kit suppliers. Moreover, the firm has also formed an e-commerce brand, with physical retail stores across the UK.

Almeria Club de Futbol and Polideportivo Almera merged in 2001 to form this club. After winning the Segunda Division in 2022, the club will now participate in the Spanish top-flight league.

Pascal Lafitte, Partnerships Director at Castore, said, “We’ve been inspired by UD Almeria’s pursuit of constant improvement and dedication to making it to the top, which perfectly mirrors Castore’s ‘Better Never Stops’ ethos. We’re incredibly excited about their return to the top flight, and can’t wait for the season to get underway.”

Mohamed El Assy, CEO at UD Almeria, commented, “We loved the idea of joining Castore since the first moment, two youth and ambitious companies that are working hard to reach the top, we hope that we can get our goals together”

The collaboration is considered an appropriate forward step for both Castore and UD Almeria, since both strive toward becoming leaders in their fields, illustrating the Better Never Stops ideology that Castore is known for. Castore has recently collaborated with some famous sporting groups which include Newcastle United, Kent Cricket, Charlton Athletic, Aston Villa FC, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Harlequins, Cricket South Africa (CSA), Sevilla FC, England Cricket Board (ECB), and McLaren Racing.
