Oracle Red Bull Racing has entered into a multi-year global strategic partnership with Carlyle, marking the first time a Formula 1 team has joined forces with a leading global private markets investment firm.

The agreement names Carlyle as Oracle Red Bull Racing’s exclusive investment management partner. Its branding will feature prominently on the RB21 challenger, drivers’ kits, the pit wall, and within the team’s garage, ensuring visibility across the entire F1 calendar.

The collaboration extends beyond sponsorship. Both parties highlighted their shared ambition to leverage technology, data, and storytelling to broaden access to private markets and engage new audiences through the unparalleled global reach of F1.

Commenting on the occasion, Carlyle CEO, Harvey Schwartz, said, “Our industry is undergoing an extraordinary transformation, fueled by greater access to private markets and growing interest from a new generation of investors. That same spirit of growth and inclusivity is reshaping Formula 1. This partnership unites two high-performing teams driven by innovation and excellence.”

Oracle Red Bull Racing CEO, Laurent Mekies, added, “Both of our organizations are built on world-class talent, bold thinking, and a drive to perform at the highest level. We look forward to building a powerful partnership on and off the track.”

The alliance signals F1’s growing commercial appeal to non-traditional partners, extending beyond its historic ties to automotive, energy, and consumer brands. For Carlyle, the partnership offers a rare platform to align with one of the sport’s most successful outfits, while for Red Bull, it represents another major addition to its global partner roster.

On the sporting front, Oracle Red Bull Racing prepares for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku from September 19 to 21. Reigning Drivers’ Champion Max Verstappen, fresh from victory at Monza, sits third in the standings with 230 points, chasing McLaren’s Oscar Piastri (324) and Lando Norris (293). In the Constructors’ Championship, Red Bull holds fourth place with 239 points, behind Mercedes (260), Ferrari (280), and McLaren (617).
