Capri Global, KLO Sports acquire franchises in Ultimate Kho Kho

The Chennai Quick Guns would be the name of the KLO Sports-owned team.

Capri Global and KLO Sports were announced as the owners of the Rajasthan and Chennai teams, accordingly, for the first season of the Ultimate Kho Kho (UKK), which shall begin soon in 2022.

Sanjay Jupudi and Srinath Chittoori, who are accomplished enterprise titans in India and overseas in the infrastructure, automobiles, and IT sectors, are co-owners of KLO Sports.

The Chennai Quick Guns would be the name of the KLO Sports-owned team, whereas Capri Global’s Rajasthan-based franchise is still yet to be named.

Tenzing Niyogi, CEO of Ultimate Kho Kho, stated in a statement, “We are thrilled to welcome KLO Sports and Capri Global to the league’s roster which already has eminent corporate names. With this league, we are committed to bringing in a modern-day professional structure in India that not only will take Kho Kho to the next level, but also create a spectacle for the fans.”

KLO Sports, which has significant technical foundations, intends to be using their skills to contribute to introducing this indigenous game into the Indian households.

Sanjay Jupudi, Co-founder of Qentelli and Co-owner of KLO Sports, said, “Our goal is to help Kho Kho become a mainstream sport in India. We believe that the franchise has huge potential, and it can bring a rather forgotten sport back into every household. Apart from investing in the grassroots, KLO sports will also invest heavily in building a platform that will engage with fans and will become a role model for all sports franchises.”

Capri Global Group is a major economic services corporation. The firm is recognized by the NSE, BSE, and RBI, and has a robust network of over 84 offices spanning eight states, supported by a powerful and committed staff of over 1,850 workers throughout the nation.

The Gujarat and Telangana franchises would be owned by multinational powers Adani Group and GMR Group, according to the Ultimate Kho Kho.
