Canva has been appointed official creative partner of Como 1907 for the 2026-27 season, establishing a new commercial collaboration centred on fan creativity, personalised merchandise and matchday experiences. The agreement is described by both parties as Canva’s first partnership of its kind with a football club.

The partnership will bring Canva into Como’s wider supporter ecosystem, with activations spanning digital content, merchandise and hospitality. From September 13, fans will be able to access hundreds of official Como 1907 templates on Canva, allowing them to customise club-themed designs and create personalised products that can be printed and delivered to their homes.

The agreement will also see a permanent Canva Print Shop introduced at Como’s Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia. Hospitality guests will be able to use the platform during matchdays to design and personalise exclusive merchandise and other fan products, extending Canva’s digital creative experience into the stadium environment.

Valentino Magliaro, Country Launcher, Canva Italy, said, “Being Como 1907’s Official Creative Partner is a huge moment of pride for us. It’s the first partnership of its kind between Canva and a football club anywhere in the world, and we’re thrilled it started in Italy, with the club that represents international innovation in branding and creativity more than any other. Bringing the Print Shop to the stadium, and mirroring that experience online for fans everywhere, means pushing the boundaries of fan engagement and innovating together in how the team connects with its supporters.”

Ryan Shelton, Chief Business Officer of Como 1907, added, “Great partnerships should create something new for supporters, and that’s exactly what Canva brings to Como. Together, we’re giving fans around the world new ways to express their connection to the club, while bringing creativity directly into the matchday experience at the Sinigaglia. We’re proud to be Canva’s first football club partner and excited to build something that feels genuinely different for our supporters.”

The agreement reflects Como’s broader strategy of developing the club beyond the traditional football model, with greater emphasis on lifestyle, hospitality, technology and entertainment. For Canva, meanwhile, the partnership creates a direct consumer-facing application for its creative and print capabilities through Como’s football identity and international supporter base.

Financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed. However, the partnership represents a shift from conventional sponsorship visibility towards a model in which a technology brand becomes integrated into the supporter journey, connecting digital creativity, physical merchandise and the live matchday experience.
