The premier men’s professional basketball league of Canada, the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) has announced a new sponsorship agreement with the gambling company, BetVictor.
For the upcoming 2023 season, BetVictor will be the CEBL’s official sports betting partner, and the agreement will help the company increase its footprint in Ontario as well as throughout Canada.
As part of the arrangement, BetVictor will give the CEBL with a groundbreaking sports betting experience on its broadcast and media channels. In addition, the organisation will control the name rights to the league’s streaming network, which will be known as CEBL+ powered by BetVictor.
In Ontario, BetVictor is a licenced and regulated online gaming business. Following the news of its agreement with the CEBL, the firm has released odds for the 2023 season, which begins next week.

We look forward to bringing this personalised sports betting experience to basketball fans across Canada for all 107 games this season.”
Since 2021, sports betting has been allowed in Canada. Each province has the authority to control the activity through its own set of guidelines.
TSN, a Bell Media-owned broadcaster, will provide coverage of this season’s CEBL, airing a game of the week on its linear channel and streaming other games on TSN+.
Certain Montreal Alliance games will be aired in French on RDS. TSN’s social media platforms will feature highlights, as will the network’s SportsCentre show, which will display game highlights during broadcasts.
The CEBL, which has ten clubs separated into two conferences, is entering its fifth season.
