The Cadillac Formula 1 Team has confirmed two strategically important partnerships as it accelerates preparations for its entry into the FIA Formula One World Championship in 2026, appointing Tenneco as an official technical partner and welcoming América Móvil as a major commercial partner.
The agreements significantly strengthen both the technical depth and commercial scale of Cadillac’s Formula 1 programme, which is being developed as a long-term, manufacturer-led operation aligned with the sport’s upcoming regulatory cycle.
Under a multi-year agreement, Tenneco will contribute its expertise across advanced powertrain systems, emissions technologies, ride performance solutions and materials engineering. The collaboration is expected to focus on performance-critical areas shaped by the 2026 regulations, including efficiency, thermal management, component durability and the application of advanced automotive technologies within a high-performance motorsport environment.
The partnership will play a key role in supporting Cadillac’s engineering roadmap as F1 introduces a new generation of hybrid power units, while also enabling technology transfer opportunities that may inform future road-car development.
In parallel, Cadillac has secured a partnership with América Móvil, one of Latin America’s largest telecommunications groups. The agreement sees América Móvil represented through its flagship brands Telcel, Infinitum, and Claro, which will feature across the Cadillac Formula 1 Team’s competitive, commercial and digital platforms.
The partnership delivers immediate regional reach and commercial momentum, particularly across Mexico and Latin America, markets that continue to show strong growth in F1 viewership and fan engagement. América Móvil brings extensive experience in global motorsport sponsorship, providing Cadillac with an established activation framework ahead of the team’s on-track debut.
Collectively, the announcements highlight Cadillac’s intent to build a fully integrated Formula One operation ahead of 2026, combining engineering capability with globally scaled commercial partnerships. As development work intensifies under the new regulations, the team continues to assemble the infrastructure, expertise and strategic relationships required to compete at the highest level of the sport.
