BVB extends collaboration with regional beer partner Würenbacher

Both parties have been working closely and are in a deal since the very start of the 2016/17 season.

Bundesliga side, Borussia Dortmund announced their deal extension with Würenbacher for two years, it will cover the 2021/22 and 2022/23 Bundesliga seasons.

BVB have been collaborating with Würenbacher to induce their German beer partner in China and with this deal, the company will see itself expand its global outreach in the Asian country and the extension will keep benefitting Würenbacher.

BVB’s head of China, Benjamin Wahl stated that “Since BVB entered the China market, Würenbacher has been a reliable partner…Especially during the pandemic, both sides grew together and supported each other. We appreciate the trust from Würenbacher and feel excited to continue our partnership. We hope to carry out more cooperation in all aspects with Würenbacher in the future and create brand values for both of us.

The Bundesliga is scheduled to start from August 14 and will see the BVB contest for the German championship. The German club will hope to dethrone Bayern Munich who are the defending champions under the guidance of Marco Reus.
