Burnley FC, the newly promoted Premier League (PL) outfit, have announced a new commercial partnership with the UK-based brewer, Favela Cerveja.
As part of the deal, the brand has become the club’s official lager partner.
Favela’s products will be offered at the club’s Turf Moor stadium during this Saturday’s league game against Sunderland AFC. The sponsorship agreement’s term and amount have not been disclosed.
Burnley, Chief Executive Officer, James Holroyd, commented, “We are delighted to announce our partnership with Favela. Burnley are built on passion and community, and Favela shares those same values. We’re excited to be working with Charles and his team to bring a new offering to Turf Moor that enhances the matchday experience and adds something special for our supporters.”
Favela Cerveja is a brewery in Buckingham, UK, that draws inspiration from Brazilian culture. Its offerings include an organic, vegan, and gluten-free lager, as well as Ipanema, a gluten-free India Pale Ale made with Brazilian hops. Beyond brewing, Favela donates a portion of its income to the Favela Foundation, a charity that supports community development projects in Brazil.
Favela Cerveja, Founder, Charles Gay, said, “We are incredibly proud to partner with Burnley Football Club. At Favela, our mission has always been about more than just beer – it’s about culture, community, and creating shared moments that matter. Burnley embodies that same spirit, and together we look forward to bringing a vibrant new energy to Turf Moor and making matchdays unforgettable for supporters.”
Burnley had a rough start to life back in the Premier League last weekend, losing 3-0 to Tottenham Hotspur FC, and will face a rejuvenated Sunderland, who overcame West Ham United FC by the same scoreline in week one.
