British Gymnastics partners with JustGo to launch a user-friendly membership solution to help clubs and members

The collaboration also represents an important milestone for JustGo, as British Gymnastics becomes the 100th national governing body in the world to join the JustGo Community.

The sports governing body for competitive amateur gymnastics, British Gymnastics has established an alliance with the worldwide software supplier, JustGo.

The partnership has been inked to launch a better, more modern, and user-friendly membership system to assist the organisation’s clubs and members in joining, renewing, and participating in the sport.

The new system will serve around 400,000 individual gymnastic community members as well as over 1,400 registered clubs and delivery partners. Additionally, it will enable the Channel Islands, Gibraltar, Northern Ireland Gymnastics, Scottish Gymnastics, and English Gymnastics to launch new membership programs for their local communities.

Moreover, the new system, which is expected to go into effect later this year, will expand on the strides that British Gymnastics has made to revolutionise gymnastics since Leap Without Limits was introduced last year and its shared goal of making the sport an inspiring experience for everyone.

This updated platform is the first step in modernising the service the entity gives to its registered clubs and members, and it will pave the way for future upgrades to its website and more tailored communications with members and clubs. Once implemented, it will also allow the organisation to have a better knowledge of how to make the sport more inclusive and accessible.

The updated system will include member registration and renewal, in addition to event entry for international, national, home nation, regional, and club competitions and events, as well as enhanced functionality that demonstrates the entity’s dedication to safeguarding the welfare of gymnasts and those involved in the sport. Along with the new approach, rolling membership will be implemented aimed at providing members with better value, as well as altered membership categories to improve fairness and relevance.

Andy Tombs, Executive Director (Sport) at British Gymnastics, said, “Partnering with JustGo on this project marks a major milestone for us. British Gymnastics is one of the largest membership organisations in the country, and it’s important we have a membership platform that’s reliable and capable of supporting that. Ultimately, it is our member clubs and delivery partners that enable so many people around the country to benefit from gymnastics. We want to help them do that well, and so we need a system that is reliable and easy to use with the most up to date functionality. To achieve that, we’re really pleased to be partnering with JustGo who have a proven track record in delivering membership systems around the world.

“British Gymnastics is committed to working with partners that share our new vision for the sport and the positive impact gymnastics can have on individuals, communities and society – that’s certainly the case with JustGo and we’re really excited about the impact we can have together over the coming months and years.”

The collaboration also represents an important milestone for JustGo, as British Gymnastics becomes the 100th national governing body in the world to join the JustGo Community.

Phil Robinson, Commercial Director at JustGo, said, “We’re thrilled at the opportunity to partner with British Gymnastics and their Home Nations. Their team and sporting culture are exceptional, and I have full confidence in JustGo’s ability to meet all of their goals and requirements. We eagerly anticipate the go-live of this project!”
