The Big Bash League (BBL) outfit, Brisbane Heat have inked a new deal with the leading Queensland home builder, Plantation Homes.

Through this deal, Plantation Homes has become official Brisbane Heat and Queensland Cricket partner. Along with this, the brand will have its logo featured on the Heat’s playing and training pants as the club strives to go back-to-back in the Big Bash League.

Plantation Homes will also enjoy extensive match-day promotion via Gabba LED signage, as well as naming rights to the Plantation Homes Luxe Lounge, one of the ground’s most popular premium ticketed areas.

The Plantation Homes collaboration will extend beyond the BBL season, with an emphasis on grassroots and community cricket as the presenting partner of the Brisbane Heat coaching clinics, as well as creating community impact possibilities via efforts such as staff volunteering through the Queensland Cricket Foundation.

Plantation Homes has a mission to make homeownership more attainable, and it is known for delivering high-quality houses at the greatest possible value.

Plantation Homes, a subsidiary of the Henley Property Group and backed by its $7 billion parent, The Sumitomo Forestry Group, is nearing its 16,000th home built for Queensland families, with an eye on exceptional customer experiences and getting families into their new homes quickly, safely, and confidently.

Brisbane Heat CEO Terry Svenson, commented, “It is wonderful to have Plantation Homes join us as a partner this summer where we are proud to represent their brand, staff, and customers on out kit. It is clear we have aligned values of making a difference in our communities, and we know the Brisbane Heat and Queensland Cricket will be a positive partnership in growth, engagement and opportunities for our members and community. Thank you to Queensland General Manager Alex Raleigh and the whole Plantation Homes team for your support ahead of what promises to be another big BBL season.”

On the deal, Alex Raleigh said, “From the very early days, our directors have been committed to building a better future for our community. Their legacy continues today and we are thrilled to partner with the Brisbane Heat to support a team that truly brings the heat both on and off the field. Just like building a dream home, cricket is all about solid foundations, teamwork, community and of course hitting it out of the park when it matters most. We’re excited to be part of the Brisbane Heat family and look forward to a season of big innings and memory making moments.”

The Heat will begin their campaign next week against Melbourne Stars on Wednesday, December 18, followed by the unit’s opening night match at the Gabba on Sunday, December 22, against Adelaide Strikers.
