Brentford FC enhance sponsorship portfolio with Football Manager addition

Football Manager has been named the official club partner by Brentford FC.

Brentford Football Club, the Premier League unit, have unveiled a new collaboration with SEGA and Football Manager.

In this association, Football Manager has been named the official club partner by Brentford FC. In addition, the two parties involved will support the launch of Football Manager 23, which will take place later this month by executing multiple initiatives.

The logo of Football Manager will be featured on the technical areas and dugout of the team for the rest of the season. The branding of Football Manager was already seen at the club’s home ground, Gtech Community Stadium, in one of the recent fixtures.

Through the Brentford FC Community Sports Trust, the PL club looks forward to working on multiple community-based initiatives with the employees of SEGA.

Speaking on the collaboration, James Parkinson, Brentford FC’s Commercial Director said, “As a Club, we always look to work with companies who align closely to our brand and values, and we saw many synergies between Brentford FC, SEGA and Football Manager.

“Just like at Brentford FC, the Football Manager game allows the user to understand data and analytics to advise on their decision-making around player trading, talent development and matchday team selection. We have a great relationship with our neighbours at SEGA and are looking forward to developing that further through this partnership.”

Richard Trafford, Head of Partnerships and Business Development at Sports Interactive, said, “We are delighted to announce a brand new partnership between Brentford Football Club, Sega and Football Manager.

“Brentford have achieved a meteoric rise to the Premier League from League Two in 2008. The Club’s strategic approach to player recruitment is a model all Football Manager players attempt to emulate.

“The partnership is a natural fit and we will be working with the Club across a number of fan-led activations in the coming months including an FM Matchday Predictor Game and training ground experience.”

The Brentford-based club has acquired the 11th spot on the table with 15 points. The team will be next seen in action on Saturday, November 5 against Nottingham Forest.
