The Premier League club, Brentford FC, have announced a multi-year extension of their century-long partnership with Asahi UK, ensuring fans will continue to enjoy iconic beer brands — London Pride, Asahi Super Dry, and Meantime — at the Gtech Community Stadium through 2030.
This agreement is among the longest continuous commercial relationships in English football, tracing its roots back to the club’s former Griffin Park home. That ground, famously built on land leased from Fuller’s Griffin Brewery, cemented a connection between Brentford and the brewery that has spanned generations.
From the 2025–26 season, matchdays will also feature Fuller’s award-winning Black Cab Stout, further expanding the club’s beer offering. Asahi UK products will remain available across concourses and hospitality areas, preserving a matchday tradition deeply woven into Brentford’s identity.
The partnership extends beyond beer taps. In 2025, Brentford and Asahi UK co-funded the creation of an orchard in Syon, planting apple and pear trees to boost local biodiversity — a project reflecting their shared commitment to community and sustainability.
Commenting on the occasion, Fran Jones, Commercial Director, said, “This is likely the longest-running partnership in football and demonstrates just how deep our roots run in the community. We’re delighted to be able to continue telling this story and serving these great products to our fans and visitors for several more years.”
Rob Hobart, Marketing Director at Asahi UK&I, added, “The relationship between Brentford FC and the Fuller’s Griffin Brewery is truly historic, going back over many generations right back to the original naming of Griffin Park, and deeply rooted in the local community. We are delighted to be continuing this long-standing partnership, and look forward to what will hopefully be another successful season for the Bees.”
Asahi Super Dry, Japan’s leading beer brand, is internationally renowned for its crisp, clean, and refreshing “Karakuchi” (Super Dry) taste — introduced in 1987 — and its distinctive silver packaging. Brewed with a unique yeast strain (No. 318), barley, hops, and rice, it pairs effortlessly with a wide range of cuisines. In addition to Brentford, Asahi has strengthened its football presence through a multi-year global partnership with Arsenal FC.
For Brentford, the renewal secures a key commercial ally while celebrating the brewery heritage that remains central to the club’s story. The extension comes as the Bees prepare for the 2025–26 season, having recently added new partners including One Water, PensionBee, Cynergy Bank, Indeed, Cazoo, and Joma Sport.
The Bees begin their campaign away to Nottingham Forest on August 17 at 6:30 p.m. IST, before hosting Aston Villa in their home opener on August 23.
