BOYLE Sports has secured the title sponsorship rights for the pre-season meeting between Manchester United and Leeds United at Dublin’s Croke Park, with the fixture set to be staged as the BOYLE Sports Cup 2026.
The match will take place on August 12, with kick-off scheduled for 12:00am IST, as Manchester United and Leeds United meet at one of Ireland’s most prominent sporting venues. The fixture is expected to draw a sell-out crowd, with Croke Park capable of accommodating more than 80,000 spectators.
Under the agreement, BOYLE Sports will receive naming rights to the fixture, alongside a range of branding and fan engagement opportunities across the event. The partnership includes in-stadium visibility, broadcast exposure, competitions and matchday activations, giving the brand ownership of the event identity rather than conventional perimeter advertising alone.
The sponsorship also carries additional significance given the relationship between the two clubs and the Irish market. Both Manchester United and Leeds United command substantial support among Irish football fans, while the fixture represents a landmark return for club football at Croke Park.
Liam McKee, Head of Sponsorship at BOYLE Sports, said, “As official betting partner of Leeds United, we’re delighted to be title sponsor of the BOYLE Sports Cup 2026, for what promises to be a brilliant occasion. This is exactly the kind of moment we want BOYLE Sports to be part of. Two big clubs, passionate supporters and a matchday experience that brings real energy to fans. Croke Park is an iconic venue, and we’re looking forward to playing our part in making the Manchester United v Leeds United BOYLE Sports Cup 2026 a memorable fixture for supporters in Ireland and beyond.“
The fixture will also extend the sponsorship’s reach through broadcast coverage, with ITV showing the match in the UK and Premier Sports broadcasting it in Ireland.
The agreement builds on BOYLE Sports’ recently announced multi-year partnership with Leeds United as the club’s UK and Ireland betting partner.
By securing naming rights to a high-profile fixture involving two of English football’s biggest clubs, BOYLE Sports is using its Leeds relationship to establish a broader event-led commercial presence, while gaining visibility across a major live audience in Ireland and beyond.
