The Bundesliga club, Borussia Mönchengladbach have developed a sponsorship extension with the bathroom retailer, Reuter.

Since 2011, REUTER has collaborated with Borussia Mönchengladbach and has been the club’s main sponsor since the 2024-25 season. This cooperation, which was originally agreed upon until 2026, will now last one extra year until 2027 owing to a contract condition.

As the front-of-shirt sponsor, Reuter’s emblem appears prominently on Mönchengladbach’s match shirts, ensuring considerable awareness in both local and international games. The expanded agreement includes branding at Borussia-Park, hospitality privileges, and digital activations. Both sides have cited their common ideals of innovation and regional participation as the cornerstone for their successful relationship.

Borussia CEO Stefan Stegemann, said, “When we signed the contract in February 2024, we spoke about how well these two Mönchengladbach-based institutions fit together. The fact that we’ve agreed to continue the partnership beyond next season shows how correct our assessment was.”

Bernd Reuter, Founder and CEO of REUTER, said, “Seeing the name of our family business front and centre on the Foals’ shirts fills us with pride. The partnership with Borussia stands out because of shared values like fairness and high motivation which we would like to maintain together over the course of the upcoming season and beyond.”

Guido Uhle, Director of Sponsorships at Borussia, said, “In the almost 125-year-long history of the club, REUTER is the twelfth shirt sponsor and the first business that also has its roots in the region. With its blend of tradition and innovation, it is a great fit for us and we’re looking forward to continuing our collaboration into the future.”

Securing the continuous support of a vital partner like Reuter strengthens Borussia Mönchengladbach’s financial stability and marketing strength as the club strives to stay competitive in the Bundesliga and throughout Europe. Meanwhile, for Reuter, the agreement provides ongoing access to a vast audience of football enthusiasts, increasing brand awareness and engagement.
