The Badminton Association of India (BAI) has named BookMyShow, the online ticket booking platform, as the official ticketing agency for the BWF World Championships New Delhi 2026, with tickets on sale today, June 22.
Over 6,000 seats will be offered to the general public across several price levels, exclusively through the BookMyShow platform, when the Championships return to India after 17 years at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium from August 17 to 23.
The field will include badminton’s top talents, including Lakshya Sen, PV Sindhu, and men’s doubles combo Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, who will be taking part in a BWF World Championships on home soil for the first time ever. They will be joined by global badminton singles leader An Se-young, Chinese men’s contenders Shi Yu Qi and Li Shi Feng, and Indonesian pair Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Shohibul Fikri, who are among the most consistent performers on the tour. Traditional South-East Asian powerhouses Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia will all be well represented.
Tickets to see the action live start as low as INR 499 under the Early Bird deal, with six seating options available in total. Fans may also get a 15% Early Bird discount on the remaining five categories for a limited time, with premium seats priced at INR 5,500 for a full matchday experience. Ticket sales will commence in stages, commencing with the first four days of play, with category price remaining steady until the Finals.
