Booking.com partners with Sania Mirza for its Explorers Campaign

Sania along with the other explorers will be seen sharing their most treasured travel memories to re-ignite the travel inspiration in us.

Booking.com has launched a new campaign called ‘Booking Explorers’ which aims to celebrate the spirit of travelling through the lens of renowned adventures, leaders, and trailblazers across the Asia Pacific. As a part of the campaign, Booking.com has signed up with Sania Mirza to be its India Explorer.

As part of the campaign, Sania along with the other explorers will be seen sharing their most treasured travel memories to re-ignite the travel inspiration in us after the long period of lockdowns that we faced.

Through the campaign, Booking.com and the explorers will try to remind us of the transformational impact travel has on our lives, as we dream of our own return to travel.

Commenting on her association with Booking.com, Sania Mirza said, “I am thrilled to come onboard as an explorer for Booking.com’s Explorers campaign, through which I got to reminisce my travel memories. My love for travel only came into existence because of my love for tennis.

“Travel has played a fundamental role in my life and my career since my childhood and will continue to do so in the years to come. While the way we travel now has definitely changed, the urge to explore the world continues to exist even more today.”

The campaign will be showcasing how Sania pursued a successful career in tennis which also allowed her to travel across the world.

Additionally, with the pandemic forcing us to stay in our homes and with all the tournaments getting cancelled, the campaign will also try and showcase how Sania took this time to rediscover India and explore the incredible destinations closer to home.

Apart from Mirza, the other explorers who will be sharing their stories are Amazing Race Australia winners – Tim and Rod, Korean alternative pop band – Leenalchi, global fashion model – Chau Bui, and Japanese illustrator Kaori Watanabe.
