The English Football club, Blackburn Rovers have signaled their intent for a strong 2024-25 campaign by securing two significant commercial partnerships.

In a groundbreaking move, Blackburn Rovers Women have partnered with the US-based probiotic skincare company, Dakota Biotech.

The multi-year agreement sees Dakota Biotech become the principal sponsor for the women’s team, with its logo taking pride of place on the front of the jerseys.

Stephen Buckley, CEO and Founder of Dakota Biotech, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, “We are delighted to be the new front of shirt sponsor for Blackburn Rovers Women.

“We hope the partnership will mean more people will see our name and research Dakota Biotech to see who we are, what we do and how we can benefit their lives.

“It feels surreal to partner with the club and I was a bit chocked when I saw our company’s name on the front of the shirt.

“We have already had a number of exciting discussions on how we can develop and grow the partnership to encompass our community.”

Blackburn Rovers Women’s General Manager, Ellis Clark, added, “We are looking forward to working with Stephen and his team at Dakota Biotech.

“Dakota Biotech are an international-based company engrained within our community, and they epitomise exactly what we’re looking for as a front-of-shirt sponsor.

“We have already held positive discussions with Dakota Biotech about how we can grow the partnership moving forward including community-focused activations and initiatives.

“I’d also like to thank UNSZD and Frank House Care Services for their support last season, and Watson Ramsbottom for being our front-of-shirt sponsor for several years.

“We’re pleased our longstanding partnership with Watson Ramsbottom will continue as our back-of-shirt sponsor for the 2024-25 season.”

The Rovers have also strengthened their ties to the local community by partnering with Pulford Farm Dairies. The family-run business, based just three miles from Ewood Park, will enjoy prominent branding throughout the season.

Colin Fielding, a partner at Pulford Farm Dairies, said, “We are really excited to partner with Blackburn Rovers ahead of the 2024-25 season.

“We are a family-run farm and we have been supplying fresh milk in the Blackburn with Darwen area for the local community for several decades.

“We rely on local support similar to Blackburn Rovers and we believe this partnership with the club will continue to help our brand and reputation grow.

“We are proud supporters of our local team and we’re pleased to be working with the club.”

Yasir Sufi, Head of Commercial and Partnerships at Blackburn Rovers, added, “The Fielding family has four generations of Blackburn Rovers supporters and we’re delighted to be partnering with them ahead of the new season.

“We greatly appreciate the support of local businesses and to now get the opportunity to work with another successful company embedded within our community is fantastic.

“Pulford Farm Dairies are well recognised in the Blackburn with Darwen area for their array of high-quality products, and we’re looking forward to seeing how the partnership develops throughout the course of the 2024-25 season.”
