The EFL Championship unit, Blackburn Rovers have announced a sponsorship deal with an established turnkey supply chain partner, Multevo.
As part of the deal, the brand has become the unit’s back-of-shirt sponsor for the 2024-25 campaign.
The regionally established and community-focused business will prominently display its emblem on the back of all Blackburn Rovers men’s first team home, away and third apparel. Multevo is a regional success story, having started from nothing in a space above Hoddlesden Village Store in 2010 and today employing over 300 people around the UK.
The organisation is a one-stop provider that dependably self-delivers services in a variety of areas, including highways, civils and groundworks, arboriculture, vegetation and traffic management, and plant and commercial vehicle support.
Moreover, Multevo is dedicated to helping the communities in which it works, employing and upskilling locally, fostering sustainability, and adhering to a “do it once, do it right” work ethic. The award-winning company has expanded significantly in recent years, notably in the Midlands and South, and has a strong track record in health, safety, and quality while embracing innovation to improve results for customers and communities.
The Lancashire-based enterprise was the first to pledge its support as a gold sponsor to the establishment of Darwen Youth Zone, as well as has continued to do so for the past three years. Furthermore, Multevo promotes physical activity by supporting boys and girls’ football teams around the borough, which includes the Blackburn with Darwen Town team and is the primary club and ground sponsor for Darwen FC.
The company works with some of the most prominent public and private sector institutions in the UK, including most major airports, almost half of all UK councils, and many significant contractors in roadways, construction, and housing.
Josh Sweeney, Director of Marketing & Growth at Multevo and life-long season-ticket holder at Ewood Park, said, “We have been on an incredible journey over the last 14 years, but I never imaged we would end up on the back of the blue and white halves! This is an incredibly proud moment for everyone associated with Multevo. It is fair to say, we have come from humble beginnings and are grateful to our passionate people and loyal customers who all play a pivotal part in our ongoing journey. We are due to launch our new website shortly to reflect where the business is today and sometimes you can’t walk away from opportunities as they appear, so we decided to grasp this one with both hands.
“We work all over the UK but are well-rooted in Lancashire, which is why we have recently upgraded our state-of-the-art service centre to support commercial truck and van customers locally and are already underway with the expansion of our Blackburn with Darwen Head Quarters with a view to growing our entire North West operation. We are dedicated to the communities we serve across the UK and believe this partnership will provide a national platform to reflect our continued success as this historic Club celebrates the 30th anniversary of being crowned Premier League champions.”
Head of Commercial and Partnerships, Yasir Sufi, said, “We are delighted to welcome Multevo to the Blackburn Rovers family as our new back of shirt sponsors across all three kits. Multevo’s branding will be there for all to see from Friday night onwards on all men’s kits, and we are looking forward to working with Josh and all of the team at Multevo. Multevo are a well-recognised company not only within our region but across the UK, and their strong community roots and values mirror our own, making them the perfect company to partner with. We’re excited to see how the partnership develops over the course of the 2024-25 season, and seeing their branding on our kits for the very first time on Friday night.”
