The German football club, FC Bayern Munich, have announced the continuation and expansion of their partnership with the European digital investment platform, Bitpanda, strengthening a collaboration that began in 2024.

The renewed agreement sees Bitpanda maintain its status as an official partner of the Bavarian club, while the fintech firm’s role evolves to reflect its positioning as a multi-asset online trading platform. The extension underscores a growing alignment between Bayern’s global brand reach and Bitpanda’s ambitions to expand its presence across key European markets.

As part of the partnership, Bitpanda will continue to benefit from extensive brand exposure across FC Bayern’s commercial ecosystem, including advertising at the club’s home venue, the Allianz Arena, alongside visibility across Bayern’s digital platforms and media channels. The agreement also includes joint marketing initiatives and fan engagement campaigns designed to connect supporters with the Bitpanda brand through exclusive promotions, digital activations and matchday experiences.

Commenting on the extension, FC Bayern Board Member for Marketing and Sales, Rouven Kasper, said, “We are delighted to continue the partnership with Bitpanda. The collaboration originally launched in January 2024, marking Bitpanda’s entry into a strategic association with one of the world’s most commercially successful football clubs. The continued partnership reflects the success of the initial agreement and reinforces the club’s strategy of building enduring relationships with partners across the technology and financial services sectors.

Founded in Austria, Bitpanda operates a digital investment platform that allows users to trade a variety of financial assets, including cryptocurrencies, stocks, exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and commodities, positioning itself as a comprehensive investment platform for retail investors across Europe.

For Bayern, the agreement further strengthens a commercial portfolio that already includes some of the biggest global brands across industries such as automotive, finance, technology and consumer goods.
