Big Bash League partners with Nexba

Nexba is inspiring players and fans alike to be Naturally Brave throughout the season.

The KFC Big Bash League has partnered with the market-leading ambient kombucha brand, Nexba. The main aim of this partnership is to encourage the fans of Big Bash to select healthy beverage options.

Nexba is an all-natural, sugar-free beverage for all seasons, and the company is dedicated to empowering Australian families to make healthy choices during the summer holiday season.

Nexba is inspiring players and fans alike to be Naturally Brave throughout the season, with the X-Factor, its associated drinks break, and the Power Surge in each inning at every game.

Furthermore, Nexba customers will have the opportunity to win tickets to the BBL Final on January 28. To be eligible, fans must buy any Nexba product from Woolworths between January 5 and 20 and then enter at www.nexba.com.

The collaboration builds on Nexba’s long-standing support for cricket as a proud partner of National Backyard Cricket, which is a fund-raising initiative to support education in rural and underserved communities.

Steven Palombo, Cricket Australia’s Head of Commercial, said, “We’re delighted to welcome Nexba to our valued family of partners this season and thank them for their support.

“Nexba is a brand with perfect alignment to the Big Bash – it’s a fun, fresh and healthy option for families and like the BBL, is based on innovation and brave thinking.

“We look forward to seeing our fans making positive beverage choices at grounds around the country this summer.”

Steve Smyth, Nexba ANZ’s General Manager, said, “This is a fantastic partnership and reflective of a major shift in the conscious consumption movement. Congratulations to Cricket Australia for their vision in creating healthier moments in sport, and in choosing Nexba to engage with cricket fans around Australia.

“Together with the WBBL and BBL, we want Australian families to know that it’s possible to make positive beverage choices that are all-natural and completely sugar-free, without any compromise on the experience we all love to enjoy.”

Currently, the league has reached its halfway mark and Scorchers are leading the table with 25 points. Renegades, on the other hand, are struggling to get any positive results as they have acquired the last spot after losing five out of seven matches in the ongoing season of the Big Bash League.
