Bhuvneshwar Kumar joins NFT metaverse with Rario

Bhuvneshwar Kumar was recently bought for Rs 4.2 crore by Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The Indian international bowler, Bhuvneshwar Kumar has teamed up with the technology firm, Rario to share the notable moments of his career with his fans through NFTs. Both the parties revealed this update through their social media handles.

The swing bowler announced this partnership and depicted gratitude towards the NFT producer through a feature post that said, “From taking a wicket in the first ball I bowled in ODI to representing my country in various world cups, my journey has been an exciting one! I’m thrilled to announce my exclusive partnership with rariohq, where you can own some of my best moments as NFTs.”

Through this partnership, Rario will mint NFTs from the memorabilia of the bowler and give an opportunity to his followers to own his iconic bowling records in a verifiable manner. In addition to this, his fans can also share and trade these digital collectibles in the NFT marketplace.

With this association, Bhuvi joins the bandwagon of prominent cricketers that have partnered with Rario. The list includes Dinesh Karthik, Quinton De Kock, Virender Sehwag, Venkatesh Iyer, Mohammed Siraj, Rishabh Pant, Zaheer Khan, Smriti Mandhana, Rashid Khan, Prithvi Shaw, Ishant Sharma and Ruturaj Gaikwad.

While bagging some popular names from the cricket fraternity, the NFT platform has also held ties with several sports leagues such as  Caribbean Premier League (CPL), Abu Dhabi T10 League, Lanka Premier League and Howzat Legends League Cricket.

Kumar was recently bought for Rs 4.2 crore by Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Tata IPL mega auction 2022 that was held on February 12 and 13.
