Betfred signs exclusive deal with England rugby national teams

The deal will be valid till 2024 and includes the Rugby League World Cup scheduled in Autumn 2022.

The betting firm, Betfred has signed a multi-year sponsorship deal with England national rugby teams to become the principal sponsor.

The company will sponsor the England men’s, women’s and also the wheelchair team. The deal will be valid till 2024 and includes the Rugby League World Cup scheduled in Autumn 2022.

The Rugby League World Cup is an international rugby league competition contested by the best men’s national teams. The competition is backed by the International Rugby League and was originally staged in France in 1954, making it the first World Cup for any form of rugby football.

The deal will be active with the international matches this weekend, where England’s men’s team faces the Combined Nations All Stars in a double header at Warrington’s Halliwell Jones Stadium.

The same weekend England women will face France and the England wheelchair team will compete against France at the Manchester Basketball Centre.
