The Prime Volleyball League (PVL) outfit, Bengaluru Torpedoes have joined hands with the healthy food outlet, EatFit. The food platform got appointed as the principal sponsor of the franchise for the upcoming season of the men’s professional indoor volleyball tournament in India.
The team announced this significant partnership on their social media handles. They welcomed the brand with a feature video that said, “The Torpedoes just got served! Our friends at the eatfit have swung by the team hotel to hand us a taste of their best. The Bengaluru Torpedoes family is proud to have EatFit on board as our principal sponsor, as we look to begin our debut season in the Prime Volleyball League.”
EatFit is a subsidiary firm of Curefoods, which is a cloud kitchen startup founded by Ankit Nagori. The outlet claims to provide a unique cuisine and combinations of food that makes eating healthy. The company has recently held some strong commercial decisions to enhance its brand recognition. The firm has roped in popular actress, Mithila Palkar as its brand ambassador. The brand also became the official nutrition partner of PVL for the 2022 season.
Bengaluru Torpedoes, with the likes of the star volleyball player, Vinayak Rokhade and, coach, K. R. Lakshminarayana will aim to have a strong performance in the tournament and win the title. The Bengaluru-based franchise will kickstart its conquest by facing Kochi Blue Spikers on February 8.
The RuPay sponsored Prime Volleyball League is a 24-match competition that would commence from February 5. The Kochi Blue Spikers will go against the Hyderabad Black Hawks in the first game.
The league has teamed up with numerous firms ahead of this season to increase its brand value. The deals include appointments of ShareChat and Moj as official content partners and A23 as an associate sponsor.
