Bengaluru FC sign the dotted lines with Popeyes

Bengaluru FC have acquired the eighth spot on the ISL table with 13 points.

The Indian Super League (ISL) outfit, Bengaluru FC (BFC) have signed the dotted lines with the American multinational chain of fried chicken fast food restaurants, Popeyes.

In this development, Popeyes has been named associate sponsors by the Blues for the season. The Bengaluru-based club unveiled this new collaboration through its social media handles with the caption, “The Blues are delighted to join hands with @popeyes_india, who have come on board as Associate Partners for the season.”

The US fried chicken brand, Popeyes, which is headquartered in Miami Florida, was formed in 1972 in New Orleans, Louisiana by Al Copeland. Jubilant Foodworks Limited (JFL) launched Popeyes in India in 2022, with the first restaurant opened in Bangalore.

Prior to this development, the JSW Group-owned ISL team also landed partnerships with Radio City 91.1 FM, Dream11, Parimatch News, Bengaluru FC, and many more.

On the field, Bengaluru FC are having a forgetful season as they have acquired the eighth spot on the Indian top-flight table with 13 points. The team played 13 matches, won four, lost eight and secured one stalemate. The Sunil Chhetri-led team played Northeast United FC yesterday and won 2-1 and will play Odisha FC next on Saturday, January 14.
