The Belgian national football team has announced a new sponsorship agreement with the Chinese trading card company, Daka Culture.
In accordance with the agreement, Daka Culture will produce and disseminate official trading cards for the Belgian national football team in China as part of a new three-year contract.
In order to offer Chinese fans the brand will provide a variety of creative star collection card items, Daka said it will collaborate with the Belgian team. The sports agency, Sportfive mediated the agreement.
Similar agreements between Daka and European football clubs such as Manchester City, FC Barcelona, Atlético Madrid, Eintracht Frankfurt and Glasgow Celtic have been signed recently.
The business has been in operation since 2015 and has previously collaborated with the Chinese Basketball Association, football teams from the Chinese Super League, and a number of Chinese film and television properties.
