beIN Sports acquires Premier League rights in Turkey

beIN will be replacing Saran Media as the Premier League’s broadcast partner in Turkey.

Qatar-based broadcaster beIN Sports has acquired rights in Turkey for the English soccer’s top-flight Premier League.

Commencing from the 2022/23 season, the three-year deal will execute the pay-TV broadcaster show live and exclusive coverage of every Premier League game, in accumulation to weekly clips, highlights, and shows.

beIN will be replacing Saran Media as the Premier League’s broadcast partner in Turkey, whose existing deal expires at the end of the ongoing 2021/22 season.

Saran lately extended its partnership with the Premier League in countries including Afghanistan, Belarus, Georgia and others.

The deal fortifies the connection between beIN and the English top-flight, whose games are also aired by the broadcaster in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The contract also boosts BeIN’s soccer portfolio in Turkey, where it holds domestic rights to the Turkish Super Lig, while it also includes coverage of France’s Ligue 1 and Germany’s Bundesliga.

Leicester City defender Çağlar Söyüncü is one of the leading Turkish players currently competing in the Premier League.

Paul Molnar, the Premier League’s head media officer, said, “The Premier League is delighted to grow our outstanding partnership with BeIN Media Group through the addition of Turkey to our longstanding collaboration.

BeIN has consistently delivered excellent sports coverage and Premier League fans can look forward to watching every match live on BeIN Sports’ channels.”
