BCCI starts preparation for IPL 2021 phase-2; set up temporary offices in UAE

It’s reported that the IPL 2021 phase-2 will be returning around the 17th of September and the final will be held on the 10th of October.

The long-awaited IPL 2021 phase-2 is finally on the verge of a comeback as cricket fans all around the country look forward to its return. The BCCI is all set to host Phase-2 of the IPL 2021 in UAE which was put on hold due to the increasing number of cases of Covid-19 back in early May. BCCI has set up temporary offices in UAE and is gearing up to host the second phase of the IPL 2021.

It’s reported that the IPL 2021 phase-2 will be returning around the 17th of September and the final will be held on the 10th of October, although the schedule has not been officially declared as of yet the dates are reportedly correct.

With Delhi capitals leading the points table with 12 points in 8 matches and the rest of the teams fighting for a position in the playoffs, every team will be highly ambitious and will be fighting for a place in the playoffs and potentially lift the sought-after trophy.

There are many issues that BCCI has to face ahead of phase-2 of IPL 2021 with some of them being the availability of foreign players as the players will be busy with the bilateral series and with warming up ahead of the ICC T20i World Cup that is right around the corner.

However, the BCCI is confident that phase-2 of the IPL will be a huge success and will see the tournament end on a positive note with almost every possible player on the pitch.
