The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has invited interested candidates to apply for the vacant position of general manager, marketing, and commercial. The job will be based in Mumbai, where the headquarter of BCCI is located.
The governing body for cricket in India made the announcement through Twitter, while they labelled some requirements for the job. A candidate who is interested in the general manager, marketing, and commercial position, should have successfully cleared a post-graduate program, preferably an MBA degree.
Apart from that, the candidate should have a minimum job experience of 15 years, while adding to it they should also have a minimum of three-year experience as head of marketing in a reputed company.
As per the job posted by the BCCI, the candidate will be handling all the marketing and commercial initiatives, which should ensure that the board’s mission, programs, and services are presented in a strong and positive way.
While the candidate should also be able to identify innovative marketing strategies and commercial programs, that in return will develop the sport whilst being attractive to sponsors and other commercial partners.
