The ITT will be made available to those who are interested in owning two new IPL teams which will feature in the 2022 edition.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the release of tender to own and operate an Indian Premier League team from the next season. The extended date for the purchase of the ITT document was till October 10, 2021. However, due to the requests from various parties, the BCCI has decided to further extend the date till October 20, 2021.

The governing body had invited bids to acquire the rights to own and operate two newly formed IPL teams which are to be introduced from IPL 2022. The governing body has issued the ‘invitation to Tender’ (ITT) document on August 31, 2021, available for the payment of the tender fees which was non-refundable.

The ITT will be made available for any parties who are interested in owning and managing the upcoming two new IPL teams. Though the involved parties will have to make a payment of INR 10,00,000 (10 Lac) plus any applicable Goods and Service Tax.

Interested parties will have to reach out to the governing body via email at ittipl2021@bcci.tv to get more information and details to purchase the ITT. However, the mere purchase of the ITT will not ensure any person launch any bids, it is only after the conditions set forth by the governing body are met they will be entitled to bid.
