The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has commenced the pursuit of an agency to helm media buying and strategy for the forthcoming TATA IPL 2025.
The national cricket governing body has issued an Expression of Interest (EOI) to invite agencies with robust experience in performing high-end campaigns throughout digital, TV, print, radio and outdoor mediums.
The budget set by the Indian cricket board is INR 30 crore. The confirmed agency will be responsible for curating a full-fledged media plan, effectively utilising expenditure across mediums and introducing outdoor activations. Agencies that are interested shall display their intent through email by March 10, 2025 and the detailed proposal submission by March 13, 2025.
Via this move, the BCCI aims to elevate the cash-rich Indian cricket league’s reach ahead of its new season and sustain itself as one of the most vital IPs in the sports and entertainment fraternity.
