Sports Marketing firm, Baseline Ventures have added Indian women’s hockey team goalkeeper Savita Punia to their talent roster. The multi-year deal will see Baseline Ventures managing all the commercial interests of Savita.
Savita has been playing a crucial role in leading India’s team to some iconic victories such as the bronze medal at the 2014 Asian Games and a silver medal at the 2018 Asian Games. She was also one of the key players who played a crucial role in making the women’s hockey team reach the semi-finals for the first time in the recently conducted Tokyo Olympics. Due to her extraordinary gameplay and skills, she is also known as “The Wall” of Indian hockey.
After the signing Savita said, “It’s fantastic to be represented by Baseline Ventures after our brilliant performance at the Olympic Games.
