Barclays extends record-breaking deal to support women’s football

Barclays will continue to serve as the title sponsor of the Barclays Women's Super League and Barclays Women's Championship.

In a major boost for women’s football in England, Barclays has announced a significant renewal of its partnership with the Women’s Professional Leagues Limited (WPLL).

The multinational bank will continue to serve as the title sponsor of the Barclays Women’s Super League (WSL) and Barclays Women’s Championship, doubling its investment in the women’s game.

This landmark deal, the largest in women’s domestic football history, underscores Barclays’ commitment to supporting the growth and development of women’s football in the United Kingdom.
