Nestle’s Maggi is trending on social media as they released their last advertisement campaign which first broadcasted on Sony LIV during the ongoing India and Australia series. The latest Maggi advertisement promotes the series and noodles together.
The advertisement is invigorating as the brand has used the concept Visual Effects to depict the relationship between Cricket and Maggi among fans. The campaign has been conceptualized by EiPi Media. The digital-only campaign was launched on December 6 during the ongoing India-Australia series on Sony LIV.
The advertisement by Maggi has got viral on social media platforms. The brand has posted the ad video on their Youtube page and captioned it Cricket + Maggi = The Perfect Match. The video has got more than 4000 views on the platform.
Nikhil Chand, Director of Nestle India, said, “In India, the love for cricket transcends all boundaries. While during any cricket season the sport becomes our first love, food tends to become its soulmate. In this commercial, we have tried to marry this very bond of cricket and food, especially MAGGI Noodles.”
Apart from this advertisement deal with Nestle, Sony Networks India signed 15 broadcast sponsors and associate sponsors before the commencement of the India – Australia series. The advertisers have shown tremendous interest in the ongoing series as India is playing a bilateral series after a gap of eight months.
Rohit Gupta, President at Sony Pictures Networks India, said, “Post IPL, there was a little worry whether advertisers are willing to spend the money. We thought it was a challenge, but fortunately, we have got a phenomenal response from the advertisers for the series. We are nearly 70-75% sold out. We are expecting 30-35% growth in revenues from TV over the last series.”
