The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), a governing body of men’s professional tennis circuits, has announced a global partnership with OFX, a worldwide payments provider that simplifies foreign exchange management for businesses and people.
The agreement will result in considerable improvements to financial services throughout the ATP Tour.
As part of the deal, OFX will provide ATP with a variety of worldwide payment options, such as prize money payments, a prize money player platform, and corporate FX transactions. The alliance also intends to streamline payment processes, improve data security, and speed up payments for gamers in their preferred currency.
Daniele Sanò, ATP Chief Business Officer, commented, “Last season the ATP Tour delivered a record US$230 million in compensation to players all over the world. OFX’s services will help us optimise our financial operations, add value to players, and create efficiencies across our global ecosystem. Our partnership is a true brand fit.”
Through this deal, OFX becomes the ATP Tour’s official prize money payment partner until 2027, providing its top currency exchange services across the world.
Josh Goines, OFX North American Regional President, said, “We are excited to embark on this journey with the ATP Tour as their Official Prize Money Payment Partner. This partnership underscores our dedication to supporting the growth of the ATP and reflects our commitment to delivering seamless financial solutions to these tremendous athletes worldwide.”
OFX, based in Sydney, Australia, has a substantial global presence, with offices in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore. With a successful and innovative track record, the organisation has proven itself as a pioneer in international money transfers and currency conversion. In addition to its ATP affiliation, OFX has notable sponsorships in a variety of sports, such as the ITF, Irish Legends Golf Tour, United Rugby Championships, and Super League Triathlon.
