The world’s biggest cricket player, the God of cricket, Sachin Tendulkar celebrated his 49th birthday on Sunday, April 24, 2022. The right-handed batsman made his debut at the age of 16 against Pakistan and since then, he never looked back.

Tendulkar finished his career as the leading run-getter in international cricket, with 34,357 runs across formats which includes 15,921 in 200 Tests, 18426 in 463 ODIs and 10 in one T20 international. Tendulkar became the first male cricketer in ODI history to score a double century, he achieved this milestone against South Africa on February 24, 2010, in Gwalior. He appeared in a World Cup record six times and eventually ended up on the winning side in his final appearance, in 2011 at the Wankhede Stadium, when India defeated Sri Lanka in the final.

Sachin played his 200th and final match at the Wankhede stadium in November 2013, during India’s Test series against the West Indies.
