Aston Villa have partnered with Winvia Entertainment to launch ‘Villa Win’, a new digital prize draw platform that aims to deepen supporter engagement while creating an additional commercial revenue stream for the Premier League club.

The initiative will offer Aston Villa supporters access to exclusive competitions featuring VIP matchday experiences, signed memorabilia, hospitality packages and other club-related prizes. Powered by Winvia Entertainment’s technology platform, Villa Win is designed to deliver an interactive fan experience that extends beyond matchdays while supporting the club’s broader digital engagement strategy.

The partnership also reflects the growing adoption of gamified fan experiences across the sports industry, with clubs increasingly leveraging technology platforms to strengthen supporter loyalty, unlock new revenue opportunities and expand engagement throughout the season.

Winvia Entertainment, which operates prize competition brands including BOTB and Click Competitions, will provide the technology, operational infrastructure and prize draw expertise underpinning the platform. The agreement also demonstrates the company’s strategy of applying its proprietary entertainment technology across professional sport, using established fan communities to accelerate growth beyond its traditional consumer channels.

Francesco Calvo, President of Business Operations, said, “Winvia’s platform and expertise will allow us to create more fan engagement opportunities through our new Villa-themed prize draws. It will not only allow us to interact with our supporters in a fun and different way, but any revenues generated can be reinvested in a number of ways, including our many community schemes.”

Gil Barel, Head of Strategic Partnerships and M&A at Winvia Entertainment, added, “Villa Win is a strong example of the partner-led opportunities that we are confident our platform is built to support, and represents another step in delivering the strategy we set out at IPO. Aston Villa has a powerful brand and a highly engaged supporter base and has recognised the opportunity for prize draws to bring supporters together in a fun and engaging way. We are pleased to be working with the Club to launch a new prize draw competition supported by our technology platform, operational capability and prize draw expertise.

“For Winvia, this partnership demonstrates how we can apply our platform into new channels with established audiences. We are confident that this model has the potential to scale across other clubs and sports organisations and become an increasingly important part of the Group’s long-term growth strategy over time.”

As football clubs continue to diversify their commercial portfolios, partnerships such as Villa Win illustrate how digital entertainment is evolving into a strategic business tool, combining fan engagement, data acquisition and incremental revenue generation within a single platform. For Aston Villa, the launch reinforces its commitment to investing in innovative supporter experiences while expanding its commercial ecosystem beyond traditional sponsorship.
